Library Adorned: Cuff Bracelet Exhibition (Jewelry Week 2022)

Jewelry majors and elective students from across departments came together in the JWLR-205 Jewelry I course. The Library has been Adorned with the results of this first studio project. Students were invited to put aside their preconceived notions of jewelry and fully explore creative avenues for wearable objects. The cuff bracelets in this exhibition derive inspiration from the Pratt Institute Library’s many collections, archives, physical architecture, interior design elements, and beyond, as well as being informed by the student’s
specific area of study.
