The Image as Communication Lecture Series: Rafael Esquer

The Communications Design Image as Communication fall lecture series highlights artists and designers whose work revolves around using the image as a tool for transmitting messages and telling stories.

Rafael Esquer is a native of the Sonora desert of México and was educated in México City and Los Angeles. Rafael is principal of the Soho design firm Alfalfa Studio. He is a frequent speaker at international design events, and was named by Taschen Publishing as among the world’s 100 most influential graphic designers.
