Digital Arts Lecture Series: Will Rahilly (MFA Digital Arts)
February 20, 2019 12:45 PM â 1:45 PM
Will Rahilly’s videos, photos and installations explore alienated entities in isolated, yet colorful, environments with a twist of awkwardness and humor. In some cases, he plays his own worst enemy in confusing interactive video performances. In creating his work, Rahilly uses real-life materials that look computer-generated, and computer print outs that look to mimic physical objects.
Recent projects include a water-based video installation at SPRING/BREAK Art Fair and interactive performances at Arists Space and Monkey Town in EYEBEAM, Chelsea, NY. He has shown work and performed extensively in New York as well as England, South Korea and the United States.
