Data Through Design: Opening Reception
March 2, 2018 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Data Through Design is an art exhibition showcasing works based on open data under the theme “8 Questions for the City.” The mission of Data through Design and Open Data Week, a city-wide endeavor by the NYC Mayor’s Office of Data Analytics, is to encourage a wider knowledge of New York City’s open datasets and how these resources can enable better public understanding of life in the city. Collectively, these works reveal insights from a cumulative whole and what stories can emerge from data. The exhibition is co-organized by Pratt SAVI, CARTO, Enigma, and will be hosted at the Made in NY Media Center.
Opening Reception: March 2 / 6:30-8:30 PM
Weekends: 10 AM-6 PM, 9 AM-7 PM
