Black History Month Art Show Exhibition

Blackness in/as Excess, the Black History Month Art Show explores Black identity as being multidimensional and intersectional, encompassing a multitude of complex experiences – visually and theoretically pushing the boundaries of form. 

Artists featured in the Blackness in/as Excess, the Black History Month Art Show include: Miles Albright, Nia Crutcher, Kai Davis, Max Fink, Sasha Guobadia, Lujing Kuwei, Janelle Newton, Nyla Rollins, Ariela Seinfeld, Sydney Shankle, Samson Shofoluwe (Shonobi), Lo Smith, and Montaysia Yuneek Sims.


The exhibition will be available to view in the Student Union until Febraury 27th. The exhibition was sponsored by the School of Art, the Center for Equity & Inclusion, the Office of Student Involvement, and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion.
