In honor of Black History Month, Black Lives Matter Pratt is hosting an important discussion on the intersections of art, advocacy, and activism during one of the most turbulent times in American history. This panel will feature Pratt alumni as they reflect on their on- and off-campus experiences during the 1970’s and its impact on campus culture and their future careers.
Moderated by Associate Professor Ann Holder, Social Science and Cultural Studies.

- Patricia Cummings, Writer, Illustrator, and Adjunct Associate Professor for Communications Design
- Norma Krieger, Curator, Head of the Krieger Creative Group, and Chair of the Pratt New York City Alumni Chapter
- Larry Provette, Former Director of the Stagg Street Center for Children
- Ron Shiffman, Professor Emeritus for the Graduate Center for Planning and the Environment, and Co-Founder of the Pratt Center for Community Development
