Collective Mobilities is a socially engaged art project and mutual aid action by artist Alex Strada, who also serves as the Fine Arts Civic Engagement Fellow and the Public Artist in Residence with the NYC Department of Homeless Services. The project launched in 2025 at the Pratt’s Fine Arts DeKalb Gallery, where Strada worked with students and volunteers to collect clothes and essentials that are gathered in her Mutual Aid Mobile sculptures. All items were directly redistributed through mutual aid networks in support of people experiencing homelessness.
