Yogalates is a hybrid introduction course to Yoga and Pilates, two complementary body/ mind exercise regimes. Both practices strengthen core and postural muscles, while improving balance and coordination. Specifically, Yogalates integrates Pilates exercises for core strength, and Hatha Yoga exercises for limb strength and flexibility. Both practices emphasize correct breathing and meditative mindfulness. The intended result is overall enhanced fitness and awareness of one’s body for mindbody alignment.
