MSCI-437P The Science of Life Cycle Assessment

This course introduces students to life cycle assessment (LCA), a tool for quantifying environmental impacts. Through the course students will become familiar with LCA, the ten related impact categories (CO2 eq is not the only way to measure our carbon footprint), and become competent in using LCA to make sustainable informed choices in their work practices. Learning will occur through independent projects, laboratory work, field trips, and lectures.
