In this course, students will explore the beauty and diversity of Earth’s natural environment through mapmaking. Building on a foundation of “the science of color,” students will find new ways to communicate the consequences of natural disasters, seasonal cycles in forest and agricultural growth, encroachment of human settlements into natural landscapes, and evidence of climate change with satellite imagery.
