The legends of King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table have provided an infinite source of material for artists and writers for over a thousand years. These legends were written, rewritten, transformed, and expanded time and time again, up to the present day. This course will cover the evolution of the legend of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table from its origins still a matter of scholarly debate probably in Celtic legends and French fiction to its most recent manifestations in fiction, film, illustration, and comic books.
