XCSI-207 Fine Arts Intensive (noncredit)

0 Credits

Develop ways of seeing and creating art with intention, through drawing and painting in the studio. Explore methods of drawing and painting as mark, color, and composition, using various formats, medium, and subject matter. Expand and sharpen artistic skills, including composition, through short and long hands-on projects. With an emphasis on process, the class culminates in an independent project or series in the final week. At the course conclusion, students will have produced at least 5 works suitable for a portfolio aimed to reflect an imaginative use of composition, color, line, and content. This class is linked to its Summer Credit Intensive equivalent ADFA-205 class of the same title, which carries 3 undergraduate college elective credits.
