This course enables students to apply discipline-specific knowledge and skills in a practical setting, while obtaining new knowledge and skills in preparation for practice in the field of community-based art and design. Students will plan and teach art or design projects to groups of children and young people in informal settings such as community arts organizations, museums, school libraries or after-school programs.
