Architecture in the World examines systems and frameworks-such as infrastructure,site,precedent, design and ordering-that undergird architectural work. The course is meant to foster a better understanding of architecture’s role in relation to contemporary, paradigmatic, cultural shifts. Students will participate in discussions, read texts, present case studies and write a final paper. The course will be conducted as a seminar.
