The practice of architecture, who participates, how contemporary practices are developed and what our collective future looks like will best be directed by understanding our past. This course examines one-hundred years of the practice of architecture through the lens of the US jurisdiction. Students will research, document and explore how the architecture profession has developed decade by decade, evolving itself into the model we find today under five key topics.
