XT-601 Architectural Mediums Primer

The Architectural Mediums Primer is a two-week intensive studio workshop environment for incoming M. Arch, MS Arch, MS AUD and MLA students to prepare for future design studios at the GAUD. There are no prerequisites for this course and it is intended to facilitate a smooth transition for students of all levels and abilities. Throughout the two weeks, students will work through a series of exercises toward an architectural product. Taught by GAUD faculty, the course introduces computational and representational tools, as well as methods for outputting physical models, using fabrication techniques. This course is for enrolled first semester GAUD students who are strongly encouraged to take this course prior to commencing their Fall semester.
