This course provides a unique and intensive immersion into the field of architecture and three-dimensional design processes. The purpose is to provide experienced students in their own fields with a strong complementary set of skills in a major that they would not focus on otherwise, to help supplement their general education through a thorough, well-rounded academic and hands-on learning experience at the renowned Pratt Institute. Course content will encompass lecture, studio exercise, and projects, including sketching, drafting and model building, combined with extensive critique, discussion and discourse.
