This course explores the foundations of photography through both analogue and digital techniques. Students will engage with traditional film-based photography, darkroom processes, and learn how these techniques influence modern digital workflows. The course emphasizes technical proficiency in film development, scanning, printing, and digital image capture, while encouraging experimentation and creative problem-solving. Through hands-on projects, students will bridge the gap between analogue processes and digital practices, gaining a deeper understanding of how traditional techniques shape contemporary photographic tools. The course also introduces emerging technologies, fostering a balance between technical skill-building and artistic exploration.
