Biography

I teach classes in Anthropology, Urban Studies, and Critical & Visual Studies. I am also a member of the Initiative for Art, Community and Social Change (IACSC), Pratt Institute. My research interests include: Archaeology/Anthropology; Cities; Postcolonial critique; Ancient Urbanism; Heritage Practice; Archaeological Ethics and Methodology; Collaboration; Public; Art Activism; Art and Community Development; South Asian Diaspora and Performing Arts. I am on the Board of Directors for the South Asian Women’s Creative Collective (SAWCC); and a member of the Visible Collective.
