He has taught courses in film history and production at Brooklyn College, Fordham University and at Pratt since 1983. Since 1960 he has filmed for the International Film Foundation in Africa and South America. His films have been shown at the American Film Festival, at the Museum of Modern Art and the Metropolitan Museum of Art. He’s a past president of the New York Film Council and continues as executive Director of the International Film Foundation.
