Student wellness is a topic that arises frequently during those conversations. “Because our students are working so hard and juggling multiple responsibilities, it’s critical to provide resources that support their health, well-being, and creativity,” she notes. “That’s why it was an honor to support initiatives like the new Student Wellness Center.”

Anne sees her gift to the renewed center as a manifestation of Pratt’s commitment to students’ long-term success. “Pratt was founded during the Industrial Revolution to help students apply their creativity in service to society,” she explains. “We’re now in the midst of another transformational era, with emerging technologies like AI changing how we communicate and create. Pratt students and faculty are leading the charge in applying these technologies to make a positive impact. My hope is that the revitalized Student Wellness Center will provide a space that makes it easier for them to stay healthy, focused, and ready to thrive as they navigate their educational journey.”

A group of diverse students walks towards the entrance of the Pratt Student Wellness Center, which features a modern design and large windows. The building is made of dark brick, with the center's name prominently displayed. Some students appear to be engaging in conversation while others walk towards the door. Green grass and small plants are visible in the foreground, adding to the inviting atmosphere.
Two people are seated at a wooden table in a well-lit laboratory filled with various natural specimens. The woman, with curly hair and glasses, rests her chin on her hand, while the man stands behind her, looking toward the camera. In front of them are framed butterflies, a hand sculpture, and a variety of nature artifacts, including a white bird and colorful stones. Shelves in the background display more examples of flora and fauna.
