Yuan Zhuang (BFA Fine Arts (Printmaking) ’17)

The spark and sprout I see, the time and tinkle I trust, the melody and murmur I mix, the fire and frost I feel, the sweet and sour I sip. My works start from the twisted reflections of what I truly experienced and directly perceived—real and reliable, fading and foggy, delightful and dusty. I do not know where my work is leading me towards to, but with no matter what techniques, subjects, materials and media applied, I believe there’ll always be some “glittery expectations” on the way to my “invisible destination.”
