The Tucker (1948)
Smithsonian Collection, Division of Work & Industry, National Museum of American History, Smithsonian Institution

The Tucker was a new car concept presented with avant-garde styling. The Tucker's padded dashboard, pop-out windows, and innovative mechanical features reflected an awakened regard for passenger safety, but never entered full production due to investor Preston Thomas Tucker's financial woes.
