William Katavolos (Industrial Design, Alumnus/Architecture, Faculty)

T Chair, or Side Chair, (1952)
(c) The Museum of Modern Art/Licensed by SCALA/Art Resource, N.Y.

Calling the T Chair a "modern design icon," Vogue praised the chair's "lean and mean" lines. Katavolos collaborated with Pratt students Ross Littell and Douglas Kelly on the chair, which is now in museum collections worldwide.
