Chosen by New York magazine as one of design’s top 25 “revolutionaries,” D’Urso designed the interiors for the loft of the young heir of a shoe-manufacturing fortune, thereby introducing Minimalist chic to American homes. Featured on the cover of Interior Design magazine, the apartment’s pared-down aesthetics showed how less could still be luxurious.
