This past week there have been two separate, but similar incidents of assault perpetrated against two students of Pratt Institute as they were walking on public streets in close proximity of the Brooklyn campus.

The first incident occurred on Friday 02/07/2020, at approximately 8:00 PM when a group of 5-6 black, teenage males approached a student who was walking on Willoughby and Classon Ave when one of the teens hit the student on the head with a rock causing minor injury.

The second incident occurred on Wednesday, 02/12/2020, at approximately 4:00 PM in which a group of 6 black, teenage males approached a student riding a Citibike on Emerson Ave, when of the juveniles slapped the student on the back of the head.  

Both incidents were reported to the NYPD and Pratt Institute Public Safety. Public Safety is working with the 88th Pct. and attempting to identify the perpetrators in these incidents.
