Pratt Institute began the search for a new provost during the fall 2021 semester. As the chief academic officer, the provost serves as a critical member of Pratt’s senior leadership, responsible for advancing the academic enterprise and supporting the success of students and faculty at the Institute.

The search will be chaired by the president’s chief of staff, Nicole Haas. AGB Search, a national firm with extensive experience and a proven track record conducting executive searches for higher education institutions, led by consultants Concetta Stewart and Ellen Meyer, will assist the Institute.

November 2021

AGB Search consultants conduct pre-search meetings and surveys with the Pratt community, including President Frances Bronet, administration, faculty, staff, and students.

President Bronet charges the search committee and AGB at the first committee meeting.

December 2021

Search launches through the AGB website.

January 2022

Committee meets to review procedures.

Candidate applications are received mid-month.

Committee reviews applications and selects semifinalists.
