PRATT COMMUNITY DIALOGUE SERIES
The Center for Equity and Inclusion (CEI) invites all students, faculty, and staff to bring their lunch and engage in dialogue with other students, faculty, and staff community members. Topics for dialogue can encompass identity, research, and/or current events. Each installment of the series runs from noon to 2 PM on the third Wednesday of every month. SOCIAL JUSTICE AND ADVOCACY WEEK (SJAW)
To commemorate The World Justice and Advocacy Week, every spring semester the CEI hosts the annual SJAW. Five days of activities aimed at engaging the larger community—in addressing some of the world's most pressing social/human rights issues, while also educating and inspiring the campus community to take action to help end these critical global concerns.
Inter-Group Dialogue is a "face to face" facilitated conversation carefully structured to explore social group identity, conflict, community, and social justice. Each dialogue involves identity groups defined by race, ethnicity, religion, socioeconomic class, gender, sexual orientation, (dis)ability status, or national origin.
Lavender Celebration is an intimate celebration to commemorate the LGBTQ+ community as well as create visibility.
