International students must demonstrate a year's worth of financial expenses in order to be issued the I-20 or DS-2019 forms from Pratt Institute. Please see the estimated expenses for the different programs below:

- SCPS Certificates Estimated Expenses 2021-2022
The financial statement(s) must be six (6) months old or less at the time of submitting. They must have the date, name and address of the financial institution, account holder’s name(s), currency, and be readily available. Stocks, Equities, Life Insurance and Salary letters are not accepted. Loans and scholarships already granted are accepted. Sponsors must submit an affidavit of support (generated by the application software). Sponsors from a company or organization must provide a separate affidavit of support on letterhead and signed. Students sponsored by governments (i.e. Saudi Arabia or Kuwait) will submit a letter from their government award. All documents must be in English or translated.
