The term “human” refers to humans—the species homo sapiens—but also what was formed in societies as an European ideal and social studies about Humanism.

The terms human and Humanism are very complex and must be carefully used, because they are defined by single-sided assumptions and exclusions.

My research engages with why we need to think about the redefinition of humans in the future, a new Posthumanism, as it relates to our virtual spaces and technology.
