Tamar Samir

Tamar Samir is a mission-driven creative director and design educator. Tamar has worked as a fashion designer, motion designer, graphic designer, art director, and creative director shaping the visual identity of brands such as MAC, MTV, AMC, Spike, Logo, CNN, and Nickelodeon. She was Brand Strategy Creative Director at Nickelodeon / MTV Networks. Tamar sees designers as socially engaged leaders and encourages her students to make a positive impact in their work, with an emphasis on social justice and ethical considerations.
