Peter Martinez Zellner is the founding principal of award-winning design firm Oficina Martinez Zellner, collaborating with clients in the arts, institutional, and nonprofit sectors.

With over 30 years of experience in building, urban design, interior architecture, and exhibition design, Peter has worked globally in Australia, Asia, Europe, Latin America, and New York City. His firm has designed renowned public and private art galleries, residences, institutional facilities, and workspaces in various cities.

Peter’s work has earned him numerous local, national, and international awards, as recognized by esteemed publications like Le Monde, Los Angeles Times, New York Times, and others.

He has a strong commitment to education and community service, serving as Visiting Chair and Professor at esteemed universities and launching the Free School of Architecture, a tuition-free design and architecture school.

As a Visiting Professor at Pratt, Peter has led studios focused on the housing crisis in L.A., bringing students to tour significant architectural sites, visit leading design firms and enjoy the local food scene.

Additionally, Peter has been actively involved in various community-driven projects and initiatives serving on the executive boards of organizations such as LAXART and From Lot to Spot.
