Visiting Assistant Professor
Paula Santos is a museum educator, organizer and podcaster. She has held positions at major museums in New York City, Los Angeles and Chicago. Deeply invested in the intersection of community engagement, labor, collective leadership and museums, she produces the Cultura Conscious podcast where she has in-depth discussions with arts and culture leaders about how and why they work with communities. In addition to her leadership in the museum field, she is a founding member of the Museum Workers Relief Fund, a mutual aid fund that raised $120,000 for museum workers adversely affected by Covid-19. She is a graduate of the Leadership in Museum Education masters program at Bank Street College and earned her B.A. in Art History from Williams College. Currently, she is the Senior Manager of Learning and Engagement at Intuit: The Center for Intuitive Art and Outsider Art in Chicago.
