Visiting Assistant Professor
MJ Tyson is an artist based in New Jersey whose work is centered on the relationship between people and their possessions. She holds a BFA and MFA in Jewelry + Metalsmithing from Rhode Island School of Design and has been an artist in residence at the Studios at Mass MoCA, Vermont Studio Center, and the Wormfarm Institute. MJ is the winner of the 2020 Art Jewelry Forum Young Artist Award. Recent exhibitions include Inheritance at Sienna Patti Contemporary and 45 Stories in Jewelry at Museum of Arts and Design.
