Visiting Assistant Professor
Galeano attended the Universidad de Buenos Aires (UBA), where she obtained a Masters of Architecture, Design, and Urbanism and graduated with honors. She continued in academia, working as a teaching assistant and teaching fellow for six years at the UBA while simultaneously launching her career as an architect.
Galeano worked for four years as a junior architect and project designer managing documentation, presentations, and basic design for two Argentine firms. Her interest in developing client relationships led her to work with the prestigious Mathias Klotz-Minond Office in Buenos Aires where she project managed and designed portions of residential projects in Uruguay, the Exhibition Center for Buenos Aires, and on the corporate headquarters for Banco Ciudad, for which she worked alongside Foster + Partners.
She moved to New York to work with Christian Lahoude Studio where she acted as a Project Director, overseeing everything from design to construction for over 50 different retail stores worldwide.
In 2017, she founded Studio Galeón in New York, a practice that combines architecture, interior, product, and experiential design.
