After 30 years in advertising, Executive Creative Director, Lorraine McNeill-Popper's thumbprint is everywhere: on Pepsi commercials with artists ranging from Michael Jackson, Ludacris to Wyclef Jean; on Life cereal's beloved “Mikey” campaign; on commercials for Gardasil, Merck's vaccine against human papilloma virus; on innovative anti-drug PSAs for the White House Office's National Drug-Control Policy ONDCP; on a recruitment campaign for the Marine Special Ops. And if you filled out your 2010 Census chances are you were motivated by one of her national commercials that she wrote and art directed. One entitled “Forward,” featured two Pratt Students.
Lorraine also serves on The Partnership for Drug Free Kids (formerly the Partnership for Drug Free America), Creative Review Committee (CRC), an invitation-only committee. Chaired by Allen Rosenshine, chairman-emeritus of BBDO World-Wide, this committee is comprised of some of the top creatives in the advertising industry. The CRC oversees and reviews all advertising and PSA's created by advertising agencies around the country for The Partnership for Drug Free Kids and the White House's Office of National Drug Control Policy. Lorraine knows what it's like to be on both sides of the camera, as she has appeared in national commercials and documentaries for The Partnership for Drug Free Kids to help raise awareness of the prevalence of addiction among children.
