Biography
Lauren is a design historian and architectural conservator that studies the history of decorative interiors in the 19th and 20th centuries. She approaches her research through a material lens, informing architectural histories with a deep understanding of the historic fabric, as well as the social and cultural forces that shape the built environment.
Education
Ph.D. Candidate in History of Decorative Arts, Design History and Material Culture, Bard Graduate Center, 2018 to present.
M.S. in Historic Preservation, University of Pennsylvania.
B.A. in Art History, Smith College.
