K. Kennedy Whiters

Prior to joining Pratt in February 2020, Krista, call her Kennedy, worked as a Senior Project Manager in the Capital Development Division of the Department of Finance and Administrative Services of the city of Seattle. She managed a tenant improvement portfolio of $2M+ for city-owned buildings and city-leased spaces. Of note from her portfolio was the Seattle Parks Department administrative offices tenant improvement, one of the largest moves for Finance and Administrative Services, a move for which she received numerous accolades.

Her experience as a project architect includes exterior restoration at sandstone buildings in the Washington state capitol campus in Olympia and the Fort Vancouver Barracks Historic Renovation in Vancouver, WA. She is the 2008 Mildred Colodny Scholar of the National Trust for Historic Preservation.

Kennedy is a registered architect in Washington State and New York State, and practices a participatory approach to planning, design, and construction.
