The New York Times recently featured alumnus Billy Parrott in an article on the New York Public Library’s collection of prints and postcards. Parrott, who was appointed manager of the collection last year, oversees the 1.2 million image collection, which the library says is the largest circulation picture collection in the world. Parrott first realized he wanted to be a librarian after working in a library as a student in Pratt’s master of fine arts program. Following his graduation  he earned a master’s degree in information and library science, also from Pratt.
