China Daily, China's national English-language newspaper (circulation 500,000 worldwide), featured Pratt graphic design alumnus James Chang in an article on cross-disciplinary designers. Chang started creating multimedia products for a print design company, and later became a “crossover designer” who designs websites, tee-shirts, VIP lounges, product packaging, and video installations. Chang, who markets himself as a “one-stop solution designer,” was cited as an example of creatives working in China who hail from a new generation of versatile designers.
