Architectural Digest recently featured the Won Dharma Center — a new Buddhist retreat that embodies spiritual and eco-conscious values on a 426-acre site in upstate New York — that was designed by Hanrahan Meyers Architects. Thomas Hanrahan, Dean, Pratt School of Architecture, is founding partner of the firm. Pratt Provost Peter Barna served as lighting consultant on the project, making the lighting system 50 percent more energy-efficient than New York building codes require, and Myonggi Sul, Pratt Professor of Interior Design, provided her design expertise to the project as a designer and as the Buddhists' representative. The article is featured in the August 2012 issue of the magazine.
