This introductory millinery course provides a comprehensive foundation in the design and construction of hats and headwear. Students will explore the creative and technical processes used by professional milliners, learning essential techniques such as blocking, hand and machine sewing, trimming, shaping, and finishing. Through guided projects, participants will develop the skills needed to transform original ideas into wearable designs while gaining an understanding of materials, tools, and industry practices.
