New Technologies

We are thrilled to offer a unified technology platform, onePratt, for students, faculty, and staff that provides a personalized set of design applications, information dashboards, and multiple channels for social engagement and collaboration all in one package.

  • one.Pratt.edu aggregates all academic and support tools like Canvas, e-Portfolios, Google Suite, Advisement and Registration, Financial Information, Safety & Wellness, Student Life, as well as social spaces to connect with your peers or get any type of help needed. It provides you with personalized dynamic information, quick access to software, hundreds of knowledge articles, online print submissions, and discussions on many topics.

  • Launchpad, the new virtual lab environment provides students and faculty with access to all licensed software titles like the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, Autodesk, ArcGIS, Rhino, Fusion360, etc. This cloud-based platform not only provides off-campus access but will also allow users to shift more computing cycles to the Launchpad platform rather than their own computer.

  • Production is the new job submission and fulfillment environment in which students have virtual access to output centers for 2D, 3D, cutting, and milling across both campuses.

  • Canvas, a new Learning Management System (LMS), is available. Resources are available through the Center for Teaching and Learning for faculty and students, including guides, video tutorials, and self-paced training.

  • Milanote: All students and faculty can now access Milanote, an easy-to-use tool to organize your ideas and projects into visual pin-up boards. With Milanote you can share work in real time, collaborate, and organize feedback. When logging in, select “Log in with Google” and sign in with your Pratt credentials.

Policies and Guidelines

New policies for field trips and internships are now available through the Center for Teaching and Learning for the 20/21 academic year. Faculty can also find updated guidance for recording and camera use in online classes.

Learning/Access Center

The Learning/Access Center provides academic support for all Pratt students, in addition to providing services for students with disabilities.  All Pratt students have the opportunity to work with professional and/or peer academic coaches and tutors. Academic coaching includes time management, study skills, reading skills and brainstorming for projects. Tutoring is also available in various subjects and softwares across the Pratt curriculum.  Additionally, the L/AC coordinates access for students with disabilities. Students with disabilities can enroll with the L/AC to determine and receive reasonable accommodations for classroom, housing, and other campus or virtual settings.  Appointments at the Learning/Access Center are available virtually, Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm.  Evening and weekend appointments are occasionally available.  To make an appointment, please contact: Phone: 718.802.3123; Email: lac@pratt.edu

Study space is also available in the Learning/Access Center.  To book a study room in the Learning/Access Center, please go to: https://one.pratt.edu/s/student-life
