Pratt’s New York State Required COVID-19 Plan

New York State has required all institutions of higher education to develop and submit a plan for reopening and operating for the duration of the COVID-19 public health emergency. Together with our partners at Geosyntec, Pratt Institute developed an extensive plan and submitted it to New York State on August 4, 2020.

As required by the State, Pratt’s plan reflects engagement with campus stakeholders and covers the topics included in the States’ guidance and instructions. The plan is not intended to replace any existing applicable local, state, or federal laws, regulations, and standards, and relies on the State’s ongoing guidance and mandates throughout the pandemic.

Pratt has made our plan available to the community for review. Members of the Pratt community may download the entire report using their OneKey password. A slightly abridged version of the report is also available to the general public.

An amendment to the reopening plan for Residence Life Students is also available.
