To support the reopening of our campuses during the continued Coronavirus Pandemic, all members of the campus community who are returning to Pratt’s campuses for the 2020-21 academic year will need to take extraordinary and persistent steps to stay well and protect each other on campus and in the community. Pratt Institute is asking each member of our community to pledge to be accountable by signing a social contract agreeing to abide by requirements and expectations that will contribute significantly toward reducing the spread of COVID-19.
Social contracts for students, faculty, and staff have been written in consultation and with input from the Pratt community. They are designed to be a temporary addition to the existing community standards, by which we all agree to abide as members of this community.
The social contract forms below are for current students, faculty, and staff only for the 2020–21 academic year. Please only complete this form if you will be accessing campus in the summer. Updates to this form will be announced.
New students or students returning in fall 2021 will be sent an updated social contract prior to the start of the semester.
All community members must agree to abide by the standards outlined in these social contracts:
Social Contract for Students, developed by the Office of Students Affairs.
Social Contract for Faculty and Staff, developed by Human Resources.
Additionally, remember that the risk of contracting COVID-19 is not bound by race or nationality. If you are aware of anyone in our community who has experienced or witnessed any incident of bias, discrimination, or harassment, please report it using the Bias Incident Reporting Form.
