If you are not a United States citizen or permanent resident, you are considered an International Student.
For on-campus classes, International Students seeking to register for Pratt on-site Summer Intensives will be required to submit copies of their current passport / visa documentation upon completion of the Online 2023 SCRI Registration Form.
Each Summer Intensive course serves as an in-depth introduction to a discipline offered at Pratt. It does not constitute a full-time course of study, therefore we do not issue I-20’s for you to obtain an F-1 Student Visa. If your visa status in the U.S. is B1/B2 (tourist visa), you may take one course with us, as long as the main purpose of your visit is touristic, and so the course is not your primary reason for visiting the United States. If you have a student F-1 visa from another U.S. university, you may take a course or more with us in the Summer.
Your passport’s expiration date must be at least 6 months later than the start date of the course that you take at Pratt Institute.
When ready to register, please complete your registration as follows:
- For a Summer Credit Intensive, please complete the Online 2023 SCRI Registration Form.
- For a noncredit Summer Intensive, please contact prostudy@pratt.edu for help with your registration. Please be ready with your payment details and send your copies of your passport and visa documentation to prostudy@pratt.edu.
