The CCA is an inclusive center, bringing together academic, industry, cultural, government and community leaders. The Center visualizes, models and promulgates new possibilities for archipelago cities, which by their very nature have a more intense experience and historic engagement with water, and consequently the impacts and inequities of climate change are most evident. Through convening, collaboration, and community change, CCA explores how climate change, the built environment, climate policy, social and cultural practices can be rethought, recalibrated and redeveloped to advance environmental equity and justice for residents of archipelago cities.
