The school's administrative offices are located in the Pratt Manhattan Campus building at 144 West 14th Street, sixth floor. Most of its classes are in the building as well. Its well-equipped facilities are designed to meet the needs of LIS students and include five computer laboratories, smart classrooms, a conference room, scanning lab, faculty offices, and a "cyber-café" available to students during building hours.
SILS Cyberspace on the sixth floor provides a casual place where students have access to the internet through available desktop computers and wireless connection. This serves as a nice place to meet fellow students and to work on team projects or just relax and have a bite to eat and a coffee. Working collaboratively with New York's leading libraries and museums, courses are also offered at Brooklyn Public Library, New York Public Library, and the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
The Pratt Manhattan Center Library is located on the fourth floor and includes information science materials including books, reference materials, and periodicals as well as access to online databases.
Situated on the border of Chelsea and Greenwich Village, the Pratt Manhattan Campus is lively and convenient.
Students find SILS facilities on the 6th floor of the Pratt Manhattan Center to be a home away from home and experience this well-designed and equipped place as one ideal for teaching and learning.
