Scholarships help to ensure that the most talented and dedicated students can take full advantage of all that Pratt has to offer. Currently, approximately 90% of Pratt students receive some form of financial aid (typically a package of grants and loans) and can easily incur up to $60,000 of debt by the time they complete their degrees.

By reducing their financial burdens, scholarships allow students to focus on their academic and creative work, rather than economic concerns. In addition, by offsetting tuition costs, these awards also allow students to enter the career world with less debt. Most important, scholarships provide a meaningful source of encouragement and recognition that motivates students to achieve their goals and fulfill their academic aspirations.
