Student Health Insurance

The waiver/enrollment period for Fall 2011 is now closed. The deadline was September 25th, 2011.

The waiver/enrollment period for Spring 2012 will begin on November 14th, 2011.  The deadline to waive for Spring 2012 is February 10th, 2012.

All Students: If you are covered under private health insurance, do not want to enroll in the student health insurance plan, and wish to have the student health insurance fee removed from your account, you MUST complete an online waiver every semester that you are attending (Fall, Spring).

Returning Students: Your previous waiver for Fall 2011 is NOT valid for Spring 2012. You must complete a new waiver for Spring 2012.

The Pratt Student Health Insurance plan is offered through Aetna Student Health. http://www.aetnastudenthealth.com

Students wishing to ENROLL in the student health insurance plan must visit http://www.aetnastudenthealth.com and complete the enrollment process. An insurance ID card will be mailed to you within 10 business days after enrollment. For inquiries about the student health insurance plan, please contact Aetna student health customer service at 866-618-0028.

Attention all students: Please check your Pratt email regularly. Email notifications will be sent to your Pratt email every semester with instructions and deadlines about the waiver/enrollment process.

How do I waive/enroll?

Visit http://www.aetnastudenthealth.com

Click on "Find your school"

Enter "Pratt"

Click on the link "Pratt Institute"

Click on "Medical plan: Enroll/Waive here"

Select either "waive", or "enroll"

Proceed to complete waiver/enrollment process

(If interested in enrolling in the Aetna Dental plan, after clicking on the "Pratt Institute" link, click on "Dental plan: enroll", then "Enroll: Aetna advantage dental)
